THE MOTOR-SURFER

.........................................................

Documenting life during the first attempt at restoring a vintage motorcycle.

Similar to the zen -like feeling that is realized through surfing,
motorcycle repair can elevate the mind to a meditative state that eludes time and space...
Meaning I obsess over it, get frustrated, yell, laugh at myself and overall waste a lot of time.

Pieces-of-the-Pie

Or more literally...Progress-of-the-Project...
Follow the complete rebuild of the 1974 Kawasaki G3SS-D Motorcycle

Betty... as we have collectively come to call her, was originally purchased for $60 at the Pasadena Flea Market from a used shoe salesman with 3-teeth. Basically a spray painted frame with 3/4 of a non-functioning motor and 2-rotted tires. No seat, lights, controls, electrical, etc... etc... etc...
I was determined to resurrect the beautiful beast that lay dormant within. My prior experience is little to none. A test of patience and determination.

Below are links to each post pertaining to the rebuild project since Day-uno.
